Once our babies learn to walk and explore under their own steam, Snap! likes to encourage their development and growth. We have created dedicated 'tweenie' spaces for children aged from around 12 months.

This gives the children an opportunity to focus on toys and play equipment designed just for their age group and join in some of the activities enjoyed by our older children. They also spend social and mealtimes with the older group and peer centred learning soon encourages them to build new skills.

We still keep an above average staff to child ratio in this age range to ensure the best of care is available at all times. At this stage we can begin more group activities and bring more meaningful caring and sharing to play and learning.
